Mass Avenue Restaurant Week Returns with Record 45 Participating Venues

INDIANAPOLIS — Mass Avenue's highly anticipated Restaurant Week is set to return March 10-19, featuring a record-breaking 45 participating venues throughout the cultural district and surrounding neighborhoods. The annual culinary celebration will offer diners specially-priced menus ranging from $15 lunch options to $35 dinner experiences at some of Indianapolis' most beloved eateries.

The event, now in its eighth year, has expanded beyond the traditional Mass Ave corridor to include restaurants in Fountain Square, Fletcher Place, and parts of downtown Indianapolis. Participating venues range from longtime favorites like Bluebeard and Livery to newer establishments such as Kuma's Corner and The Garage Food Hall.

Economic Impact and Community Support

"Restaurant Week has become one of our most successful initiatives for driving foot traffic and supporting local businesses," said Maria Rodriguez, executive director of the Mass Avenue Arts District. "Last year we saw a 30% increase in restaurant visits during the week-long event, which translates to significant revenue for our hospitality partners and the broader community."

The timing comes as welcome news for restaurant owners who continue to navigate post-pandemic challenges. Many establishments along Mass Avenue and nearby streets have worked to rebuild their customer base while managing increased operational costs.

Local business attorney Jennifer Sanchez of JK Sanchez Law notes that events like Restaurant Week are crucial for the hospitality industry's continued recovery. "We're seeing more restaurants invest in community partnerships and special events to differentiate themselves in a competitive market," Sanchez said. "These collaborative efforts really strengthen the entire district."

Featured Venues and Special Offerings

This year's lineup includes several first-time participants, including the recently opened Meridian Street Bistro and Chatham Tap's new location near the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Returning favorites like Mesh, Bazbeaux Pizza, and The Garage Food Hall will offer exclusive menu items created specifically for the event.

"We're thrilled to participate again this year," said Michael Thompson, general manager of Napolese on Mass Avenue. "Restaurant Week gives us the opportunity to showcase some creative dishes that might not make it onto our regular menu, and it's always exciting to see new faces discovering what Mass Ave has to offer."

The event will also feature special programming including chef demonstrations at the Indianapolis City Market, cocktail pairings at participating bars, and a social media contest encouraging diners to share their Restaurant Week experiences.

Reservations for Restaurant Week will open March 1 through participating venues' individual booking systems. The Mass Avenue corridor, stretching from downtown to 10th Street, continues to serve as one of Indianapolis' premier dining and entertainment destinations, home to more than 60 restaurants, bars, and cafes.
